Cynthia Marbun-Lachinsky is a skilled researcher and senior R&D officer with extensive experience in plant tissue culture. Currently serving as a PhD candidate at Ghent University since January 2022 and a senior R&D officer at Deroose Plants Group since June 2021, Cynthia has a background as a senior manager at PT. TAMORA STEKINDO overseeing a Green Plants Tissue Culture Lab, and has also held positions such as head of the Tissue Culture Lab at PT. Wilmar Benih Indonesia and section head of culture selection at PT. SMART, TBK, where duties included managing culturing processes. Cynthia began their career in education, teaching math and science as a private teacher and Christian religion at SMUN 8 Bogor. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from IPB University.
