Steven Morgan has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Steven is currently the Director of Business Development at Derco since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PAL Services from 2013 to 2022, where they held the position of Director, DLA Aviation. At PAL Services, they were responsible for management on on-site operations and personnel at DLA Aviation, and provided acquisition and program management guidance and support to Government program managers.
Before PAL Services, Steven worked at Owens & Minor from 2008 to 2013. During their time there, they served as the Manager of Strategic Supplier Programs and later as an Account Manager. Steven was successful in increasing strategic supplier sales, analyzing complex proposals, and developing customer-targeted product opportunity reports.
Steven's previous experience includes working at the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DLA) as the Deputy/Acting Director of Business Development from 2005 to 2008, and as the Deputy Director of Logistics (N4) at the US Navy from 2003 to 2005. Steven also served as a Supply Officer on the USS CAPE ST GEÂÜÀòÂÒÂ×E (CG-71) and USS SCOTT (DDG-995), and was an Instructor at the Navy Supply Corps School.
Furthermore, Steven worked at the Naval Air Systems Command as a Procuring Contracting Officer from 1998 to 2001, where they planned, negotiated, and executed US Government contracts. Overall, Steven Morgan has a wealth of experience in business development, program management, logistics, and government contracting.
Steven Morgan's education history begins in 1983 when they enrolled at Villanova University. Steven completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management in 1987. In 1996, they pursued further education at the Naval Postgraduate School, where they attained a Master of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Federal Contracting by 1997. Later, in 2004, they attended the Pennsylvania State University for the US Marine Corps Logistics Education Program (MCLEP), specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
