Gerard Torrent is a Data Scientist with a strong background in data analysis and strategy optimization. Currently at DerbySoft since September 2022, Gerard has focused on enhancing bidding algorithms through feature creation and performance-based placement strategies. Previously, at Caixabank Business Intelligence from April 2021 to September 2022, Gerard was responsible for collecting and validating large datasets to ensure the accuracy of analyses and models. Experience as a Performance Data Analyst at Smadex included developing automated scripts and analyzing process efficiency. Additionally, Gerard taught technical subjects at various educational levels from September 2015 to March 2020. Educational credentials include an MSc in Data Science from Nuclio Digital School and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
