Mathias Renz is an experienced professional in the field of venture capital and media, currently serving as the Head of VentureCapital Magazin for Brutkasten GmbH since April 2021. Prior to this role, Mathias held various positions at GoingPublic Media AG, including Project Manager and Editor for VentureCapital Magazin, from January 2019 to March 2021, and served as a key figure in the organization from 2000 to 2018 in roles such as Managing Director and Editor. Mathias also co-founded and managed Beachminton AG, promoting the sport of Beachminton and operating a comprehensive sports center from 1997 to 2002. Earlier career experiences include roles in accounting and controlling at ANTENNE BAYERN GmbH & Co. KG and Timberland, as well as an industrial clerk position at Speck Kolbenpumpen. Mathias Renz holds a Dipl.-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg, supplemented by a specialized higher education diploma in Economics from the Städtische Berufsoberschule in Munich.
