Matthew Luken has extensive experience in the field of digital accessibility and user experience design. Matthew is currently working at Deque Systems, Inc as the Vice President and Principal Strategy Consultant, where they consult with companies of all sizes to improve their digital accessibility maturity and strategy. Matthew helps organizations create, improve, and optimize their digital accessibility programs, covering areas such as policy, governance, software design, training, and conformance reporting.

Prior to their current role, Matthew worked at U.S. Bank as the UX Design Director - Digital Accessibility (A11Y), Vice President. Matthew played a key role in building the Enterprise Digital A11Y program and led a team of consultants and leaders who provided accessibility design reviews, testing services, defect remediation, and best practices documentation. Matthew also served as a UXDesign Director and an Experience Strategist at U.S. Bank, leading user experience teams and providing product strategy for various digital products.

Matthew has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where they taught courses in Graphic and Web Design for the Masters Program and Continuing Education. Matthew co-created and co-designed the User Experience Continuing Education Certificate program.

Matthew also pursued two Masters degrees from the same university, one in Aeronautical Science Technical Management from 2000 to 2001, and another in Aeronautical Science Operations from 2000 to 2001.
