Amijah Townsend-Holmes is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Communications Assistant to Senator Kamala Harris for the Biden for President campaign since August 2019. Previously, Amijah held roles as Executive Assistant to the Deputy Campaign Manager/Communications Director and Special Projects Coordinator. Amijah’s experience includes work as a Lead Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and as a Resident Advisor and Intramural Sports Official at Spelman College. Additional experience includes participating in the Harvard World Model United Nations, interning at the Public Health Management Corporation, and studying abroad at the School for International Training in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Amijah graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies and a Spanish Minor from Spelman College in 2019, following a high school diploma from Masterman Julia R Secondary School.
