Andrew Prior has extensive experience in human resources and workplace relations, currently serving as Manager of Human Resources at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania since January 2018. Previous roles include Senior Workplace Relations Consultant and Senior Human Resources Consultant within the same department. Prior has also held positions such as Sector Development Coordinator at Volunteering Tasmania, Work Experience Coordinator at The Salvation Army Employment Plus, and Human Resources Manager at JBS Swift Australia. Additionally, Andrew worked as Principal Consultant at Camden Recruiting, Regional Manager at Workstar and Integrated Training, and Services Manager at Mission Australia. Andrew's early career included a role as an Officer in the Australian Defence Force. Academic qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Laws from The Australian National University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from the University of Tasmania and Federation University Australia, respectively.
