Kevin Martin has extensive experience in security management, having served as the Manager of Security at Corrective Services NSW since December 1985, where responsibilities include assessing operational needs and overseeing the movement of approximately 165,000 inmates annually. Prior to this role, Kevin worked as a Senior Correctional Officer at the Department of Defence of Australia from September 1983 to December 1985, and held the position of Corporal in the Military Police, focusing on the coordination of military convoy movements and the security of military complexes. Kevin completed education at Kurri Kurri High School, attaining a Year 10 degree.
