Kavya Mohan is a dedicated public health professional currently serving as a Planning Officer at the Victorian Department of Health since September 2024. Previously, Kavya held the position of Senior Project Officer at the same department from December 2022 to September 2023 and worked as a Public Health Officer at Western Health for a brief period in late 2022, as well as at the Victorian Department of Health from June 2021 to December 2022. In the role at the Department of Health, Kavya played a crucial part in managing Covid-19 outbreaks in high-risk industries, providing public health advice, and collaborating with employers to mitigate transmission risks. Kavya holds a Master of Public Health degree from Deakin University, earned between July 2018 and July 2020.
