Amir Abdollahi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, and data engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Advanced Analytics at the Victorian Department of Health, Amir leads AI/ML and digital twin solutions for various departmental use cases. Prior roles include Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Resolution Life and multiple engineering positions at Arq Group, where Amir focused on automating COVID-19 reporting processes. Amir's previous experience encompasses R&D at the University of Oxford and lecturing at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where significant contributions to machine learning frameworks and optimization methods were made. With a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Amir has a strong foundation in numerical modeling and predictive maintenance, complemented by entrepreneurial experience as co-founder and CEO of ROBOKIT, promoting robotics education among youth.
