Lindsey Heider possesses extensive experience in child protection and investigative roles, currently serving as a Child Protective Investigator for the Florida Department of Children and Families since July 2023. Previously, Lindsey held a similar position at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office from April 2022 to August 2023. In both roles, responsibilities included investigating allegations of abuse, neglect, and abandonment, interviewing involved parties, and ensuring children's safety in accordance with state mandates. Lindsey also has a background in customer service, social media management, and emergency dispatching, with prior positions at Greystar, Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, and Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Science in Criminology from the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota.
