Gabriel Ilagan is a Food Technologist at the Department of Agriculture in the Philippines since July 2023, specializing in conducting microbiological and sensory analyses per Food and Drug Administration guidelines. Responsibilities include assisting in product cost analysis, preparing research proposals aligned with the DA-R4D agenda, and analyzing nutritional facts of food and feed samples. Previously, Gabriel served as an Office Administrative Assistant at the Department of Health, supported microbiological and physico-chemical analyses at The HEINEKEN Company, and ensured product quality and microbiological safety at The Coca-Cola Company. Gabriel holds a Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of the Philippines and a Diploma of Education in Food and Beverage Services from MIHCA International Indonesia.
