Acadia Yondorf has a strong background in special education, with experience working in various roles and settings. Acadia began their career in 2012 at Aurora Public Schools as a special education teacher, where they implemented reading curriculum and created individualized education programs for students. In 2014, Acadia took on the role of Special Education Staffing Chair, where they facilitated professional development and ensured compliance within the department. Acadia then transitioned to Denver Public Schools in 2016, working as a Special Education Teacher and later becoming a Special Education Team Lead and Curriculum Developer. Acadia Yondorf completed a Master of Education (MEd) in Urban Education & Pedagogy at the University of Colorado Denver from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Chicago, where they studied between 2009 and 2012. Acadia Yondorf also attended Douglas County High School from 2004 to 2008, although no degree or field of study is specified.
