Rachel Fewell is an experienced library professional with a diverse background in collection management and library administration. Currently serving as the Director of the Central Library at Denver Public Library since July 2011, Rachel coordinates services and programming, engages with community partners, and plans for the library's future. Previous roles include Collection Services Manager at Denver Public Library, where Rachel managed a team and a substantial budget, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver, teaching Collection Management. Rachel's earlier experience includes positions at Anythink Libraries and High Plains Library District, focusing on collection development and community outreach. Rachel holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Winona State University.
