Jim Isbell is an experienced freelance writer and middle school football coach with a diverse background in sports journalism. Since January 2014, Jim has contributed to the Denton Record-Chronicle and The Dallas Morning News, focusing on local high school football. Additionally, Jim served as a Dallas correspondent writer for TexasHSFootball.com and as a Dallas Cowboys analyst for The Sports Journal. Prior experience includes writing for the Abilene Reporter-News and Abilene Christian University's Optimist, where Jim covered various sports and completed numerous stories. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in convergence journalism from Abilene Christian University, earned in 2014.
