Robert Young has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Robert is currently the VP of Research and Development at DentalEZ Integrated Solutions, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to this, they were the owner of Permanently Fixed LLC, a company they founded in 2003 after developing and licensing a patented orthopedic bone plate technology. In this role, they collaborated with leading surgeons and presented training courses nationwide. From 2010 to 2016, they served as the Director of Engineering at New Generation Devices. Before that, they held positions at CR Bard, Precimed, Synthes, Ametek Aerospace, and Gross-Given Mfg. Co. Notably, at Synthes, they were a Sr. Project Engineer and played a key role in the development of locking bone plates, which are now a standard in orthopedic trauma care.

Robert Young attended Temple University from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
