John Farah has a diverse work experience. John was the Owner and President of The Dental Advisor, starting in 1983. John also authored a book called "Let's Pick It Up a Bit" on running and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In addition to their role at The Dental Advisor, they worked as a dentist, scientist, writer, and entrepreneur at Enspire Dental and The Dental Advisor since 1980. Prior to that, they were a Senior research scientist at the University of Michigan from 1972 to 1987. John also served as a professor at U of Florida from 1980 to 1982.

John Farah attended College des Freres in Jaffa, Israel from 1956 to 1962, where they completed their high school education in general studies. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Michigan from 1964 to 1978. During their time there, they pursued multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in Dentistry, and a degree in Dental Bio-materials.
