Giovanni Ferrara is an experienced professional in the field of electronic design and layout engineering with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Mask Layout Designer at Denselight Semiconductors Pte. Ltd. in Singapore since May 2020, Giovanni has previously worked at Intel Corporation from September 2015 to May 2020, focusing on the development of integrated circuits for the wireless market, specifically implementing designs from RTL synthesis to layout and verification. Giovanni began the career at Siemens A.G. in 1980 and held various positions in companies such as ST Microelectronics, AT&T, LSI Logic, Cadence Design Systems, Magma Design Automation, and Infineon Technologies, gaining expertise in ASIC design and deep submicron circuit tools. Giovanni holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITIS Archimede in Catania, Italy.
