Tijn Swinkels has a diverse work experience history. In 2014, they worked as a Machine-operator at Bavaria for two months. In 2015, they served as a Research development ingenieur at Huijbregts Groep BV for five months. During the same year, they also held the position of Coördinator en Examentrainer at Lyceo, where they worked for nearly three years. In 2016, they were the Chief Mechanical Team member at Team FAST from April to December, and then became the Technisch manager from January 2017 to January 2018. Finally, in 2018, Tijn Swinkels founded their own company called DENS | Dutch Energy Solutions.

Tijn Swinkels earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2019.
