Rob Thijssen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rob currently works as a Lead Engineer Reformer at DENS since September 2021. Prior to this, Rob worked at Sleegers Technique from 2018 to 2021, where they held multiple positions including Engineer/Teamleader and Engineer. Rob also served as a Graduation Intern at the company. Before that, Rob was employed at Alkumé Fijnmetaal BV as a CNC frezer and completed a stage at the same company. Additionally, they gained experience through stages at Concept Engineers B.V., BKL Engineering B.V., Dimetec machinefabriek, and Melamo B.V. Rob's earliest work experience was as a Vacation and Weekend Employee at Boomkwekerij & afhaalcentrum Schonenberg from 2009 to 2012.

Rob Thijssen attended Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with a focus on Werktuigbouwkunde. During their time at Fontys, they also completed a minor in ondernemen at Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2017. Prior to attending Fontys, they studied Mechatronica at ROC ter AA from 2010 to 2014, earning a Middenkaderengineer (MBO-4) degree.
