Mikio Shimizu is a seasoned professional in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Assistant to the CTO and Executive Officer at Denka Company Limited since April 2017, where also holds the position of President of Denka Performance Elastomer LLC and has managed the Isesaki and Ofuna plants. Prior to this role, Mikio Shimizu worked at Denki Kagaku Kogyo from April 2004 to March 2017, where held various leadership positions including Deputy Plant Manager at the Chiba Plant, General Manager of the R&D Institute, and Project Leader for new product development. Mikio Shimizu holds a Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry, obtained from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
