Pravin Kumaran has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Pravin began their career as a Natural Language Processing INTERN at Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College Of Engineering in 2012, where they contributed to the government's Text to speech synthesis system initiative for the Tamil language. Pravin developed an algorithm to convert Tamil units into a linguistic form.

In 2013, Pravin joined Cognizant as a Program Analyst (Datawarehousing). Pravin was responsible for delivering reports and DataMart on time with good quality standards for THE HARTFORD, an insurance firm. Pravin also established agile methodology for long term business strategic goals and integrated different source data using ETL techniques for designing the dimensional model.

In 2016, Pravin worked as a Data Scientist Intern at DSM. Pravin developed a Life cycle model to understand the sales curve of DSM products and educated teams on the importance of data and analytics in driving the business. Pravin collaborated with different business groups to gather sufficient information and validate models.

From 2017 to 2019, Pravin served as a Data Scientist at Just Analytics. Pravin was involved in developing data engineering and analytics pipelines using Microsoft Azure, including data ingestion, transformation, visualization, and predictive modeling. Pravin analyzed and processed complex datasets using advanced querying, visualization, and analytical tools. Pravin also developed and managed a knowledge repository to facilitate efficient retrieval and pattern understanding.

Since 2019, Pravin has been working as a Client Data Engineer at DemystData, where they are involved in client data management and engineering.

Pravin Kumaran holds a Master's Degree in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College Of Engineering. In addition to their degrees, Pravin also obtained a certification in MCSA: Machine Learning from Microsoft in March 2018.
