Naomi Rasmussen has a strong background in program management and international development, currently serving as Vice President of Programs at Democracy International since August 2019, where Naomi also held the roles of Director and Deputy Director of Program Management. Prior experience at Democracy International includes serving as Deputy Director of Programs and Senior Program Officer from February 2013 to July 2017. Naomi's earlier roles include Activity Manager and Coordinator at GRM International, IRC Somalia Program Volunteer at the International Rescue Committee, Project Coordinator at EarthAction, Grant Writer at Burma Border Projects, and an intern at Search for Common Ground. Naomi began their professional journey as a Policy Analyst at Teach Against Genocide and Special Project Assistant at Global Youth Connect. Naomi holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in International Development and Social Change from Clark University.
