Matt Valant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sponsorship management and revenue growth, currently serving as Senior Manager of Sponsors & Special Projects at the Detroit Economic Club since August 2009. Responsibilities include overseeing revenue retention and growth from over 100 corporate sponsors, as well as securing new prospects. Prior roles at the Detroit Economic Club included Manager of Sponsors and Student Programs and Sales Associate, along with a Marketing Coordinator Internship at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Prior experience also includes a Sales Associate position at The Henry Ford. Matt Valant earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with High Honor from Michigan State University, graduating in 2008.
