Hannah Byrd is a Program Management Officer at Democracy International, where Hannah manages various democracy programs. Prior to this, Hannah worked as a Program Manager at Emma's Torch, supporting refugees through culinary education. With experience at the Center for International Private Enterprise, Hannah worked to advance gender equality in emerging markets. Hannah has also taught English in Tunisia and hosted a virtual movie club for Libyan students during their time with the U.S. Department of State. Hannah holds a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies with a focus on Arabic and Middle East Studies.
