Amir Muhammad is a multi-platform journalist and consultant with extensive experience in the media and information technology sectors. Currently serving as a Consultant at Democracy International since February 2024, Amir previously held similar consultant roles focused on legal aid improvement in Bangladesh from February 2022 to August 2023. Amir's journalism career began in 2007, with reporting positions at Amader Shomoy and Daily Jaijaidin, followed by a longstanding role at Daily Ittefaq since March 2010. Additionally, Amir contributed to the Institute for Environment and Development as a Facilitator and supported journalism training initiatives with the Journalism Training and Research Initiative. Amir holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National University of Bangladesh.
