Samsam Rasekhafshar is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in project management and offshore structural engineering. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at DEME Group since December 2022, Rasekhafshar previously held the position of Offshore Structural Engineer at Saipem, focusing on the design of subsea structures and rigid pipelines. Earlier roles include Site Project Manager at Fagioli, where responsibilities included the recovery of the shipwreck Berkan B, and Site Civil Engineer at SOCOTEC Italia, specializing in infrastructure inspections and quality control of construction materials. Rasekhafshar holds a Master of Engineering in Offshore Structural Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, a Bachelor of Engineering in Building Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze, and a Higher National Diploma in Geometra from Istituto Tecnico "SALVEMINI – DUCA D'AOSTA."
