Matthias Rooman currently serves as International Tax Manager at DEME Group since October 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles at EY from 2013 to 2022, where Matthias held positions including Senior Manager in Corporate Tax and Manager in International Tax Services. Focus areas throughout Matthias's career include real estate, the shipping industry, international trading, mergers and acquisitions, and the diamond industry. Additionally, Matthias served as a Member of the Board of Directors for WoonAnker Waas from 2015 to 2019 and held various roles in tax consulting and summer internships. Matthias holds a Master of Science in Law from Ghent University and has completed further education at the University of Antwerp and other institutions.
