Duje Braic is a skilled marine engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles within the maritime industry. Currently serving as a 2nd Engineer at DEME Group since October 2021, Duje maintains substantial engine equipment and advanced machinery aboard, including two main engines and a hopper dredger system. Previous experience includes positions as a 3rd Engineer with responsibility for a diesel electric system at Atlantska Plovidba d.d. and roles as a 4th Engineer and Engine Cadet at Norddeutsche Reederei H. Schuldt GmbH & Co. KG, where Duje assisted in the maintenance and operation of marine machinery. Early career includes training as an Engine Cadet on a research vessel and foundational experience as a Deckhand. Duje holds a high school diploma in Marine Engineering from the Maritime School of Split, acquired from 2013 to 2017.
