Bert Geeraerts is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in maritime crewing management. Currently serving as HR Manager - Maritime for DEME Group since April 2012, Bert oversees all Group-level crewing matters for a fleet of approximately 200 vessels. Previous roles include HR Analyst / MLC Expert, focusing on maritime labor compliance and talent management, as well as managing recruitment and HR operations for the Wheatstone Project in Australia. Prior to DEME Group, Bert spent over 12 years at Exmar Shipmanagement, managing a fleet of LPG and chemical tankers, and held various HR management positions responsible for crewing strategies and operations. Bert's career commenced at EAMSS as an HR Manager, leading teams and quality control in a specialized airplane cleaning company. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor in International & Business Communications from AP Hogeschool Antwerpen and an Economic degree from Sint Jozefscollege Herentals.
