Bankole Cardoso is an experienced professional currently serving as the Managing Director at Delta40 Venture Studio since October 2024. Cardoso has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the DRASA Health Trust since October 2014, focusing on improving infection prevention and control in Nigeria’s healthcare system. Previously, Cardoso held the position of Investment Director at both Factor[e] Ventures and Equator from January 2023 to October 2024, leading investments in technology-enabled businesses and supporting equitable economic growth in Sub-Saharan Africa. As the Managing Director of ENGIE Energy Access from July 2018 to December 2022, Cardoso contributed to delivering sustainable energy solutions across the continent. Additional roles include Board Observer positions at Beacon Power Services and SunFi, and earlier experience includes being the Global Head of Communications & Partnerships at Jumia Group and cofounder of Easy Taxi. Educational credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, and Business/Management from Boston College.
