Gregory McCord has a range of work experience within the Department of Defense. Gregory started in 2015 as a Program Manager and Radar Asset Manager, where they were responsible for the operations, maintenance, and upgrades of a deployed Space Radar. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Program Manager and Battery First Sergeant in the Army Air and Missile Defense Cross Functional Team, overseeing the management of allocated resources and providing support in project financial and scheduling data preparation. In 2019, they became a Program Manager and Budget Analyst in the Army Space and Missile Defense Command, responsible for budget operations and overseeing daily operations, including spend plans and contracts. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Program Manager and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Data Program Analyst in the U.S. Space Command. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Program Manager and Department of the Army Budget Analyst at Ft. Carson DPW, where they are responsible for budget analysis and controlling the use of appropriated funds.
Gregory McCord has a strong educational background in finance and financial management services, as well as criminal justice and corrections. In 2020-2021, Gregory completed the DOD Financial Management Certification Level 3 program administered by the United States Department of Defense, focusing on finance and financial management services. Prior to that, from 2008-2014, Gregory earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Post University.
