Michael Tikal has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michael started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Procter & Gamble in 1985 and later took on the role of Consumer Products Engineer. In 1989, Michael joined Delta Elevator Co Ltd as a Mechanical Engineer, where they worked for eight years. Following this, they worked as a Quality Manager and Stamping Manager at Jefferson Elora Corporation. In 2000, Michael joined Virtek Vision International Inc. as Product Support Manager for Industrial Imaging. Michael then moved on to Pentalift Equipment Corporation as an Engineering Manager in 2001. Most recently, Michael has been with Delta Elevator Co Ltd as the VP Mechanical Engineering, followed by their current role as VP Research and Development.

Michael Tikal attended the University of Waterloo from 1980 to 1985. Michael obtained a Master of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering during this time.
