Brandon Swatowski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in optical engineering and education. Currently serving as a Senior Application Development Professional at Dow since June 2011, Brandon has led the development and optimization of optical measurement systems and is the fabrication development lead for next generation optical materials for communication systems. In addition, Brandon has been a Physics Instructor at Delta College since December 2015, teaching applied physics. Prior experience includes roles as an Optical Engineer at Magna Electronics for a brief period in 2011, where implementation of optical testing stations and performance assessment of camera assemblies were key responsibilities, and as an Electrical Engineer at Calumet Electronics Corporation, where training and fabrication of polymer optical waveguides took place. Academically, Brandon holds a Master of Science and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from Michigan Technological University.
