Veda Burns MBA is a seasoned procurement management professional with extensive experience in strategic procurement and marketing. Currently serving as the Global Strategic Procurement Manager at Delta Air Lines since December 2018, Veda focuses on flight crew accommodations and corporate travel. Previously, Veda held the position of Global Director Indirect and Marketing Procurement at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), where responsibilities included developing and implementing global category strategies. Veda's tenure at The Coca-Cola Company spanned from 1994 to 2015, during which significant roles included Director of Entertainment Marketing and Global Director of Marketing Procurement, managing comprehensive sourcing, negotiations, and supplier performance, resulting in substantial savings and efficiency improvements. Veda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Penn State University and an MBA from Brenau University.
