Ashwin Iyer is a Research Scientist at Delsys, Inc., starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, Ashwin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from August 2019 to July 2023, and at the University of Pittsburgh from May 2018 to August 2019. Ashwin also gained experience as an Associate Design Engineer (Co-op) at c3controls in 2015 and worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh from May 2014 to May 2015. Ashwin holds a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University (2019-2023), is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017. Education was completed at Homestead High School from 2009 to 2013.
