Robert Valk is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various roles across notable organizations. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Deloitte Australia since August 2016, Robert emphasizes joined-up thinking and cloud solutions. Previously, Robert held positions as Principal and Specialist Director, focusing on big solutions and high-quality outcomes, as well as taking on technical leadership roles. Prior to Deloitte, Robert worked as a Senior Consultant at Sixtree, where responsibilities included designing and developing Mule ESB applications and training in the technology. Robert's early career included roles at IBM as a Senior Consultant and Consultant, specializing in WebSphere Process Server, and technical support at Caulfield Grammar School. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University, with studies in Computer Science, Mandarin Chinese, and Music Composition.
