Igor Linshits has an extensive and diverse work experience. Igor started their career in 1988 by establishing a business manufacturing hairbrushes and combs. In 1990, they co-founded a company trading oil products, which became one of the largest in Russia. In 1993, they founded their own business, Neftyanoi, initially focusing on trading commodities and later expanding into direct investments.

In 1997, Igor Linshits partnered with Lukoil, a Russian oil giant, to establish Lukoil Chemical, a petrochemical plant. Igor sold their shares to Lukoil in 2000.

In 2000, Igor Linshits, along with Yuri Milner, bought a stake in Mail.ru, a Russian internet portal, which they increased to over 30% in the following years.

In 2001, they established Delin Development, a real estate development company specializing in office properties in Russia. Their notable project was the Silver City, a large office building in Moscow.

In 2009, Igor Linshits founded Delin Capital, a real estate company. Three years later, in 2012, they founded Delin Property, a leading European logistics company. In 2015, they established Delin Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in life sciences and technology businesses.
