Xavier Mallol is the CEO and coFounder of delectatech, a technology startup focused on innovation in the food service sector through techniques such as Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning. Xavier has led the development of the company's product, Food Radar, which provides manufacturers, suppliers, and restaurants with real-time knowledge based on Big Data. Xavier's innovative approach has earned delectatech recognition as one of the industry's most innovative companies.

In addition to their work at delectatech, Xavier has served as a Guest Speaker at ESIC Business & Marketing School since November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Fanscup, a web development and analysis role within Grupo Intercom, the world's largest football social network. Xavier was responsible for various functionalities such as user profiles, real-time activity feed, multimedia management, and game statistics.

Before joining Grupo Intercom, Xavier worked as a Java Software Engineer at icontainers, where they focused on designing and implementing the company's web system using technologies such as Java, JSF, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.

Xavier also has experience as a Professor at ASES - Asesoria de Estudios Superiores, where they taught programming and computer architecture courses to university students. This included topics such as data structure programming and computer system architecture using languages like Java and C++. Their teaching involved both regular courses throughout the academic year and intensive courses before examinations.

Xavier Mallol has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. In 2004, they enrolled at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they completed a degree in Ingeniería Superior en Informática from 2004 to 2010. Xavier then furthered their education in Computer Science at Lund University in 2010. In 2012, Xavier attended Barcelona Activa for the Idees am Futur program. In 2016, they participated in the EMPENTA 2016 program at Esade, focusing on Startup & Business.
