Alyson Dressman is a Capital Project Planner at the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, focusing on project development and short-range planning for regional infrastructure projects since March 2023. Previously, experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant in the Urban Data Visualization Lab at the University of Illinois Chicago and positions in planning and community engagement with the Streeterville Organization of Active Residents, grant evaluation for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, and research outreach with the National Parks Conservation Association. Alyson also served as an academic tutor for Chegg Inc., contributing to urban planning and GIS education, and held various positions in housing policy and communications, including with the Institute for Housing Studies and the City of Cincinnati. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a minor in Public Policy Studies from DePaul University.
