Melanie has held senior leadership positions at DEKRA, a global company with revenues of over 3.5 billion EUR and 200 subsidiaries worldwide. Melanie'sroles at DEKRA include Senior Vice President & Head of Group Controlling, Vice President & Head of Corporate Controlling, and Vice President & Head of Controlling Regions, Divisions & IT. Melanie was also a member of the Board for DEKRA Kalite Kontrol Hizmetleri A.ÅŸ. Melanie has extensive experience in finance, controlling, and IT. Prior to their time at DEKRA, Melanie worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and held intern roles at SAP, Arthur D. Little, KPMG, Deutsche Bank, and Bosch.

Melanie Detscher earned a Diplombetriebswirtin (FH) degree from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, during the period of 2004 to 2006. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Dublin City University from 2006 to 2008.
