Heidy Liahut, MPP, currently serves as a Planner I for the Henry County Board of Commissioners, a position held since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Victim-Witness Advocate at the DeKalb County Solicitor-General's Office and as a Court/Law Enforcement Based Advocate at Atlanta Municipal Court. Heidy has also worked as a Legal Advocate at Promise Place, an Immigration Legal Assistant at Immigration & Injury Law, and a Domestic Violence Advocate at Tapestri. Early career experience features customer service as a specialist at The Home Depot and as a sales representative at J & R Clothing. Heidy holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning & Policy from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Clayton State University.
