Prosper Opara

Software Engineer (Mukuru) at Deimos

Prosper Opara has a diverse work experience in software engineering and full stack development. Prosper is currently working as a Fullstack Nanodegree Session Lead at Udacity, where they facilitate workshops and teaches subjects related to full stack development. Prior to this, Prosper worked at Deimos as a Software Engineer, where they made technical decisions for microservices and designed and tested React components and RESTful API endpoints. Prosper also worked on the MVP for Optty, where they designed and built Javascript widgets and built the Optty retail control center (ORCC) dashboard using React/Typescript. Before that, Prosper was a Full Stack Engineer at HicHq, where they led the engineering team, drove technical discussions, and was responsible for architecting and designing backend APIs and frontend services. Prosper also had experience as a Full Stack Engineer during the HNG internship, where they worked on real-world software development. Additionally, Prosper worked as a Technical Lead at AgroHive, where they built the company portfolio site, managed servers, and maintained the web platform.

Prosper Opara obtained a Bachelor's degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics (Gemomatics Engineering) from the Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria.
