Melissa Chung is a Trainee Patent Attorney at Dehns since September 2021, specializing in mechanical, automotive, and aerospace engineering, with additional expertise in electronics, software, and medical devices. Prior experience includes a Renewables Internship at Equinor, where the focus was on documenting commercial operation processes for windfarms, and a Summer Internship at The Faraday Institution at the University of Cambridge, conducting energy storage research. Melissa has also participated in a Geoscience short course at ExxonMobil, a research internship at Lancaster University’s Experimental Particle Physics group, and various summer programs at the Institute for Basic Science and CERN. Melissa holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Lancaster University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University.
