Gilian Villatoro is a Senior Manager, Data & Systems at Defy Ventures. Prior to their current role, they served as a Producer at Independent Arising Films where they supervised production for a documentary film on childhood trauma in correctional systems. Gilian has also worked as Property Manager at Hillside Villa Properties and Regional Manager at Tico Services.

Gilian Villatoro has a B.S. in Business Management from Colorado State University, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Adams State University, a Communication Certificate from Bakersfield College, an Associate of Science - AS in Business from Coastline College, and an Associate's degree in Social Sciences from Lassen Community College. Gilian is also certified by Microsoft in Microsoft Word/Excel Expert Certification.
