Roy Uijting has a work experience that spans several roles and companies. Roy started their career as a Stagiair at Smart Concepts in September 2011 and worked there until January 2012. From February 2011 to December 2015, they worked as a .NET Developer at I-Pulse Internet Solutions. In January 2016, they joined Open Circle Solutions B.V. as a Mobile Consultant and stayed there until November 2017. In December 2017, they started working as a .NET Consultant at Navara and stayed there until October 2018. Roy then joined Allego as a .NET Developer in December 2017 and worked there until June 2020. Currently, since June 2020, they are working as a Software Developer at Deftpower.

Roy Uijting completed their secondary education at Lorentz Lyceum from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained a VWO degree with a focus on Science and Technology (N&T). Following this, they pursued their higher education at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2009 to 2013, specializing in Software Engineering within the IT field.

In addition to their formal education, Roy Uijting has acquired several professional certifications. In February 2016, they became a Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer. Later, in April 2018, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification from Scrum.org, and in November 2018, they achieved the Professional Scrum Developer certification, also from Scrum.org. Roy Uijting further expanded their expertise by earning the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in October 2019, followed by the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification in December 2019.
