Brian Perez Wences is currently serving as a UCLA Dream Summer Fellow at Define American since June 2021, where responsibilities include research and data analysis across various departments. Brian is also an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing education from 2020 to 2024. Previous experience includes a summer internship at the Science Internship Program in 2019, focusing on automating the identification of globular clusters, and a student intern role at StreetCode Academy in 2018, teaching high school students various design and building skills. Additionally, Brian completed a web development internship with Hack the Hood in 2017, creating a website for a DJ business. Education was completed with a high school diploma from East Palo Alto Academy in 2020.
