Marius Lillestøl's work experience starts in 2007 as a Shift Manager at McDonald's Corporation, where they worked until 2012. In 2013, they joined Joker Grocery as a Crew member and stayed there until 2018. During that time, in 2017, they also worked as a Lab Assistant/Group Teacher at Universitetet i Oslo (UiO) for a few months. In 2018, they transitioned to Defigo, initially working as a Hardware Engineer and later becoming the Director of Products in September 2022.

Marius Lillestøl started their education in 2006 at Byåsen Videregående Skole, where they pursued studies specializing in real subjects. Marius completed this program in 2010. In 2012, they attended London Metropolitan University, focusing on Computer Engineering. However, it is not clear whether Marius received a degree from this institution. From 2013 to 2015, they returned to the University of Oslo (UiO) to obtain their Bachelor's degree in Nanoelectronics and Robotics. Subsequently, Marius pursued a Master's degree in Nanoelectronics at the University of Oslo from 2015 to 2017.
