Johan Wattenström is the CEO & Co-founder of Nortide Capital AG, a company working on financial infrastructure in various sectors. Johan is also a Director at BTQ, a global quantum technology company, and Valour, a platform enabling global investors to access digital assets. In the past, Johan has founded and directed companies such as Nortide Brokerage AG and Nortide Trading AG, offering market making services for digital assets. Prior to this, Johan served as the CEO & Co-Founder of XBT Provider, known for launching the world's first ETP on Bitcoin. Johan has a background in proprietary trading and quantitative research, with a strong focus on case-driven strategies. Johan holds educational qualifications from Stockholm University, Marcus Evans, and ITI Chicago.
