James Ainsworth has been working in the finance industry since 2006. James began their career at BDO in Australia as a Senior Manager, and then moved to BDO UK LLP in 2014 as a Manager. In 2018, they took on the role of CFO at deferit and Superestate, and also became a Director at Ainsworth Advisory. James is currently working as a Partner at BDO in Australia.

James Ainsworth has a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed in 2010. In 2012, they became a Chartered Accountant through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
